Okinawa, Japan 48 images Created 22 May 2012
The islands of Okinawa lie at the very southern tip of Japan. Stretching for over 1000 kilometres they are close enough to Taiwan to be able to see those distant shores on a clear day. Here you can see some of my favourites images from the main island of Okinawa including such sites as the Churaumi Aquarium, the traditional Okinawan culture theme park of Ryukyu Village. The giant stone ramparts of the remains of Nakijin Castle, the giant caves of Okinawa World and the hustle and bustle of International Street in the capital Naha.
